It’s an exciting time in my career… I’m now photographing kids who are turning 7 and 8, who I started working with when they were babies.  Such is the case with this dimpled cutie.  I have photographed all of Melanie’s birthday parties, and each is more fun than the one before it.  I’ve loved watching and documenting, year after year as she’s changed from baby to toddler, into an amazing little girl.  Just look at how much fun she had this past weekend at Chelsea Piers, celebrating her 7th birthday!  And I love the innocence of the ‘My Little Pony’ party theme.  Little girls should stay little girls.  There’s plenty of time to grow up later.
