Applause is one of my favorite musical theater companies for kids.  It’s also the home of the very popular Broadway Babies, Rock n’ Roll Babies and Superstars.  This past weekend, they hosted their very first Club Applause, a hip-hoppin night of funky music and cool dancing.  I was honored to be included as mamarazzi for the night. The kids felt like rockstars as I photographed them entering on the red carpet step/repeat. Then it was off to a virtual hip-hop club, where they danced the night away with all of their friends, old and new. For many of the kids, this was their first real “night party” so it was a very special evening for sure. Awesome, 8 year-old DJ and rapper, DJ Fulano was there to spin their favorite tracks and we enjoyed performances by professional hip-hop dancers, which was amazing!
